  I highly recommend Revive Physical Therapy based on my personal experience. In my particular case I had a challenging case of heel pain (plantar fasciitis) for several months that just wasn't getting any better even with orthotics. There are many techniques for treating plantar fasciitis and the effectiveness of any particular treatment varies by person. My therapist was very good at explaining treatments to me and also at listening to what I had to say about my condition. Stretching is always a key component of any plantar fasciitis treatment plan. I was provided appropriate instruction on stretching exercises and, as my treatment progressed, new exercises for strengthening were continually added as appropriate. Taping the foot is yet another technique that was used early on in my treatment plan and it seemed to provide some limited benefit to me. Revive therapists especially stand out when it comes to hands-on treatments. One hands-on technique that was particularly effective for me, was when my therapist (Jen) applied gentle pressure to get the "knots" in the fascial tissue to release (calming the area). She also performed other manual massage and stretches that helped me quite a bit. Another technique was to use ultrasound treatments which breakup scar tissue and increase blood flow to promote healing. As you can probably tell, my treatments were quite encompassing and in the end it is all coming together very effectively. When it comes to administrative things like tracking what your health insurance covers and getting any necessary approvals, the staff at Revive does a good job as well. The staff is friendly, kind, and respectful. All in all, I had a very good experience.
